Elizabeth Harris has translated works by Italian authors like Mario Rigoni Stern, Domenico Starnone, Giulio Mozzi, and Antonio Tabucchi. Her translations appear in numerous literary journals, including Words Without Borders, The Literary Review, AGNI, The Missouri Review, and Kenyon Review. Her translations appear twice in Dalkey Archive’s annual anthology Best European Fiction (Giulio Mozzi 2010 and Marco Candida 2011).
Along with Rigoni Stern’s Giacomo’s Seasons, she has translated Mozzi’s story collection, This Is the Garden (Open Letter Books), and novels by Antonio Tabucchi, Tristano Dies and For Isabel: A Mandala, both published by Archipelago Books. Her translation prizes include a Banff Centre Translation Residency and a PEN/Heim Translation Fund Grant for Tabucchi’s Tristano Dies.
